Comment Letter to FDA on Pilot Program Premarket Review of Nicotine Pouches

ACS CAN, along with the American Academy of Pediatrics,  American Heart Association,  American Lung Association, Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, and the Truth Initiative urged the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)  to demonstrate transparency regarding its premarket tobacco product applications (PMTA)  pilot program  of nicotine pouches and to allow the public to assess whether it is being implemented consistent with the Tobacco Control Act and the agency’s rigorous scientific standards.
