Funding for Cancer Screening, Treatment, Patient Navigation, Surveillance and Awareness Programs

ACS CAN will continue working to protect and increase funding for state breast and cervical cancer screening and treatment programs for low-income uninsured and underinsured women.  ACS CAN will work to maintain and increase funding for state cancer registries and work within states to utilize registry data to guide planning and evaluation of cancer control programs. ACS CAN is currently engaged in efforts to update Maine’s state cancer plan.

ACS CAN will work to increase funding for colorectal cancer screening, treatment, and patient navigation programs.
