Dr. Cheasty Anderson has joined the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) as the managing director for the Gulf Coast Region, which includes Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas. In this role, Anderson will lead ACS CAN’s staff and volunteers in each state as they work to advance legislation and public policies to reduce cancer.

Mayorkas in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas to urge the court to uphold the Biden administration’s 2022 “public charge” policy.
