The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) submitted testimony today to the House Energy and Commerce Committee on the topic of racial and ethnic disparities in the health care system that often result in an unequal cancer burden. The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) is encouraged about Governor Steve Bullock’s commitment to reducing tobacco use. Today the Montana Department of Public Health issued a permanent rule requested by Governor Bullock to end the sale of flavored e-cigarettes in Montana. ACS CAN believes this is a good start and encourages communities to prohibit the sale of all flavored tobacco products to protect kids.
