Tell us how menthol cigarettes have impacted you, your family or your community

The FDA recently released proposed rules that would eliminate menthol in cigarettes and all flavors in cigars. Ending the sale of menthol cigarettes and all flavors in cigars is long overdue, and is a significant step to reducing the number of kids who take up tobacco use and to ending Big Tobacco’s targeting of youth, Black and LGBTQ+ communities with menthol products.

ACS CAN is urging FDA to finalize these rules and we need your input. Tell us how menthol cigarettes have impacted you, your family, and your community.

  • Do you have a family member who previously used or currently uses menthol cigarettes or flavored cigars?
  • Do you live in a neighborhood where menthol cigarettes and flavored cigars are being advertised? What does that look like and how does it impact the community?

We want to hear from you. Your comments and your stories will help us convince FDA that finalizing these proposed rules are in the best interests of public health and ending health disparities.
