Protect Prevention Programs

ACSCAN will advocate for funding of HealthyWomen, the state breast and cervical cancer screening program for low-income, uninsured women administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. In addition, ACS CAN will advocate for funding for tobacco prevention and cessation programs to reduce tobacco use. The aim is to protect state and Master Settlement Agreement (MSA) funds for screening and prevention services in the annual budget.
