OLYMPIA, Wash.— March 27, 2019—Today, the Washington legislature passed legislation to raise the sales age for all tobacco products including electronic cigarettes to 21. The bill now heads to Governor Jay Inslee’s desk.
A federal judge ruled the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) violated federal law by approving work requirements and other barriers to eligibility for Medicaid recipients in Kentucky and Arkansas.
