As a resident of Massachusetts, your lawmakers want to hear about the issues that are important to you. Your age doesn't matter! Lawmakers LOVE to hear from middle and high school students about what issues are impacting their day to day lives. So help us make some noise and let the Massachusetts Legislature know that taxing sugary drinks will help you and your peers make healthier choices.

Sugary Drink Tax Video Sample - You can record a 15 to 30 second video talking about the importance of passing this tax. Once complete, you can email the video to Melissa at [email protected] or text it to her at 508-834-4017. The video should include at minimum your name, the town you live in, why passing the excise tax is important to you or a fact about the health risks of sugary drinks, and end with the ask. The videos shouldn’t be directed at any one lawmaker.
