On July 3rd, the U.S. House voted to make the biggest cuts to Medicaid in history.

Lawmakers voted to strip away affordable health insurance from millions of people and increase health care costs.

This vote will impact the fight against cancer for years to come. Alaskans advocates fought hard to oppose these cuts. Even though the result is painful, your efforts mattered. While these cuts are deep and the harm will be significant, we fought off deeper cuts and additional damaging policies that would have put affordable health care even further out of reach.
