South Carolina has a lot to be proud of when it comes to cancer research and we are excited to have Dr. Denis Guttridge from Hollings Cancer Center presenting. Dr. Guttridge is the Director of the Charles P. Darby Children’s Research Institute and Associate Director of Translations Sciences for Hollings Cancer Center. The Darby Institute is the largest and most comprehensive pediatric research facility in the Carolinas and only one of 20 in the country. Dr. Guttridge and colleagues will showcase the work being done at Hollings and how it impacts our state. Our discussion will highlight pediatric cancer in SC.
