Oregon Research and Policy Breakfast
About the Event
American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN), the advocacy affiliate of the American Cancer Society will host their annual policy forum in person on Oct. 14th, 2025.
Our annual policy event is the flagship event of ACS CAN in Oregon and an opportunity to orient and advance the cancer advocacy world to key priorities with Congress and upcoming Oregon State legislative sessions. This is a pivotal moment with campaigns like protecting /increasing research funding from Congress for the National Cancer Institute and National Institute of Health.
The Research and Policy Breakfast event will bring together leaders in the community to dive into the groundbreaking research taking place in Oregon. Attendees will learn more about specific issues cancer patients in Oregon face and will be provided resources needed to focus our shared campaign to end cancer as we know it, for everyone.
Join us for a full breakfast with special speakers along with a panel of cancer experts here in Oregon focused on the future of cancer research.
