Florida Policy Forum on Clinical Trials

On Wednesday, September 21^st, the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) will host a policy forum at Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute in Tampa to explore developments in clinical trials. Our organization endeavors to raise awareness and help create better access to clinical trials, particularly among more diverse populations. ACS CAN will use these discussions to help illustrate and answer the following:

• What type of clinical trials are happening in Florida?
• What are the benefits of having access to clinical trials for Floridians?
• How do we improve access to clinical trials, particularly among ethnic minorities?
• What can we do to make Florida a more attractive destination for researchers?
