We have made the difficult decision to postpone our Day at the Capitol event originally scheduled for tomorrow, March 18th.
Connecticut Lawmakers have currently suspended all legislative business until at least March 30th. We won’t know until later this week when and if they will be resuming session and in what capacity. Given the uncertainty and the limited access to lawmakers right now, we have decided it is best to postpone our Virtual Day at the Capitol. We want to wait to hold the event on a date where we can have a bigger impact.
In these unprecedented times, we will continue to work to find alternative ways to impact lawmakers and to fight for a world without cancer. Thank you again for your support and all you do for ACS CAN.
