2019 Northern IL - ACS CAN Winter Advocacy Volunteer Summit

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED

Those who registered BEFORE Jan 11th will join us on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 10am-3pm for our Northern IL ACS CAN Winter Advocacy Volunteer Summit.  The training is open to ALL interested volunteers, who want to engage in our advocacy efforts to make cancer a top priority.

Attendees will receive an overview of our policy priorities (federal and state), a review of our campaign plans for 2019, get a glimpse of the IL political climate, receive a calendar of events with advocacy tools/opportunities and have a chance to connect with other cancer advocate volunteers from their area.

Thank you to those that registered to join us and learn how to successfully advocate for laws that impact the issue of cancer and help make a difference in the lives of thousands of people in Illinois. 
Attendance is FREE, but REGISTRATION was required.   (Lunch will be provided.)
