2019 ACS CAN We CAN Make an Impact Policy Forum

Approximately 20% of clinical trials fail due to insufficient patient enrollment.  Only about one in four cancer patients has access to clinical trials where they are being treated.  Understanding and addressing the barriers that prevent patients from participating in trials is crucial to accelerating progress in cancer research. 

This leadership event not only unites those in Missouri and Kansas who are fighting to end cancer, it supports ACS CAN, the nation’s leading advocacy organization which unites and empowers cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers, giving them the training and tools they need to be heard by policymakers across the country.
