Join us as ACS CAN Oregon convenes nearly 100 key decision makers in health and business to highlight developments in personalized medicine.  This event will focus on new therapies and diagnostics that identify candidates who can benefit from personalized medicine.  During this event, we will explore questions such as the following:

  • What are patient expectations for personalized medicine?

  • How can cancer patients benefit from genetic testing and targeted therapies (including recent examples in lung cancer, melanoma, etc.)?

  • How do we ensure personalized medicine is practiced in a reliable way that optimizes patient outcomes?

  • What is needed to integrate personalized medicine into clinical practice, including in community settings?

  • What are the barriers to patients accessing personalized medicine?

  • What is needed to continue to promote new advances in personalized medicine?
