A Day of Service

January 16, 2012

As we observe Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday, we should consider his inspiring statement when he said that "Life's most persistent and urgent question is: 'What are we doing for others?'" Dr. King's work impacted millions of Americans. Our work on behalf of cancer patients and their families also impacts millions of Americans. So on this Martin Luther King Day, I would ask you to take a moment to pledge to become an ACS CAN member and to learn what cancer advocacy events are happening in your area. You might also take a moment to tell a friend about the power of joining the nation's leading cancer advocacy organization. Your efforts truly matter. You can make a big difference in our battle against cancer. Learn what you can do to help impact the lives of those who are battling this vicious disease   Contributions or gifts to ACS CAN are not tax deductible. *Picture attributed to the Library of Congress website.
