4,400 Nebraska kids and 214,500 adults in Nebraska still smoke cigarettes. Smoking costs Nebraska $795 million in annual health care costs and 2,500 Nebraskans will die from tobacco-related illnesses. Nebraska can do more.

More and more young Nebraskans are getting diagnosed with skin cancer. We cannot protect teenagers from melanoma and other skin cancers unless we prohibit minors from using indoor tanning facilities.
