The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network unveiled the billboard to thank Congress for bipartisan leadership in the fight against cancer

WASHINGTON, D.C. –  Today, the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) led an amicus (or friend-of-the-court) brief on behalf of key national public health groups in support of plaintiffs in the American Academy of Pediatrics v. Kennedy lawsuit.

A coalition of public health organizations, pediatricians and parents today filed a federal lawsuit challenging the Food and Drug Administration’s new enforcement policy that allows e-cigarette and nicotine pouch products to be marketed and sold without the scientific review and marketing authorization required by federal law.

The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) called on the Nevada State Legislature to raise the state tax on cigarettes and all other tobacco products during a meeting of the Joint Interim Standing Committee on Revenue, Wednesday.
