Join ACS CAN at the Boston Making Strides Against Breast Cancer to help spread the word about the work ACS CAN does to help prevent, cure, and care for breast cancer. ACS CAN volunteers from around the state will gather at the ACS CAN tent at Boston Making Strides at 7:30am on October 2nd. We'll have a petition signing station, a photo booth, and a place where participants can become ACS CAN members. We need your help to at the different stations. Whether you can give an hour of your time or all 5 hours, we have a place for you! Training will be provided the week before the event so that you know what to expect when you arrive at the event. Please RSVP to let us know you will be joining us. Once you RSVP, you will be sent the training call information.
The American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk is a powerful event to raise awareness and funds to end breast cancer. As the largest network of breast cancer events in the nation, the noncompetitive 3- to 5-mile walks unite communities with a shared determination to create a world free from the pain and suffering of breast cancer. Passionate participants raise critical funds enabling the Society to fund innovative breast cancer research; provide free, comprehensive information and support to those touched by breast cancer; and help people reduce their breast cancer risk or find it early when it’s most treatable.
