Portland Pride

In Oregon, the LGBT community is disproportionately burdened by tobacco. In fact, 31% of lesbian, gay, and bisexual Oregonians use tobacco, compared with just 18% of Oregonians who do not identify as LGBT. This is no accident – Big Tobacco has been targeted LGBT individuals since the early 1990s with millions of dollars spent trying to insert itself into the community.

Join the American Cancer Society and ACS CAN as we encourage LGBT Oregonians not to buy Big Tobacco’s lies. We are looking for 50 volunteers to march in Portland Pride, give away freebies, and collect petition signatures. Sign up to volunteer now!
