I’m honored to step into this role as your new State Lead Ambassador. Our state is home to an extraordinary community of advocates—people who show up, speak out, and push for policies that save lives and reduce the burden of cancer for everyone.
Advocacy has never been more important, and neither has the power of community. As Margaret Mead so perfectly said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” Every victory we’ve achieved—and every life impacted—has started with people like you choosing to get involved.
Together, we are advancing policies that improve prevention, increase access to care, and invest in lifesaving research. I’m inspired daily by the passion, resilience, and determination of our advocates across California, and I’m excited to work alongside you as we continue building momentum toward a cancer-free future.
