There is no doubt about it: cancer research saves lives.  Whether it be the critical research funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Cancer Institute (NCI), which truly are the foundation of our national cancer research program and support research in every state, or the innovative privately funded research, cancer research matters.
