Tell Oregon's Leadership to Fully Fund Breast & Cervical Cancer Screenings
Screenings help detect cancer early. Cancer screenings save lives.
The Oregon Legislature has reduced the funding for the Oregon Breast and Cervical Care Program (ScreenWise / ORBCCP), leaving people exposed. This could impact the 3,400 women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer in Oregon, this year. Show your support for putting these lifesaving dollars back in the budget. We need help from anyone who is passionate about the fight against cancer. Any person can sign our petition to let Oregon's lawmakers know you are someone who wants to see our state fully fund access to life saving screenings for folks without insurance or who are underinsured. If you have recieved screening services through Oregon's free breast and cervical cancer screening program, ScreenWise, we need to hear your stories. Your stories, when shared with our lawmakers and our community, may be able to help us ensure no matter your income you will have access to a life saving screening.
