Wyoming Cancer Action Day

Join American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network at the Wyoming State Capitol to promote policies to end cancer as we know it, for everyone.

We will have volunteer training, networking and prep time, and a lawmaker lunch with our elected officials to share our personal stories and advocate for the issues we care about.

2026 Cancer Action Day Priorities: 

- Tobacco cessation and prevention programming and funding 

- Breast and cervical cancer research and funding

This is a great opportunity for anyone who cares about health care issues, from first-timers to seasoned activists. Everything you need will be provided on site! 

Day of Agenda: 

9:00 AM - 10:45 AM (Volunteer training)

10:45 AM - 11:15 AM (Volunteer photos, lunch transition)

11:30 AM - 1:30 PM (Lawmaker lunch)

2:00 PM (Observe chamber sessions)

2:30 PM (Wrap up, report back forms)
