Alaska Policy Forum: New Products, Old Tricks: Tobacco's Evolving Landscape

The marketplace is changing rapidly, but the tobacco industry’s tactics remain strikingly familiar. Social influencers, highly-concentrated levels of nicotine, even video games are all part of the current landscape. 

Join us as we hear from a panel of public health leaders from across the spectrum who will discuss the impact tobacco continues to have on our communities. We will explore effective partnerships and policies including investing in fact-based tobacco control programs, significantly increasing taxes on all tobacco products, and defending existing tobacco control laws to prevent and treat tobacco addiction and support Alaskans in living healthier lives.
