2025 Georgia Cancer Action Day

Welcome!

Thank you for joining us at the 2026 Georgia Cancer Action Day. The event will take place on Wednesday, February 4th from 8:30am to 12:30pm. This page will provide you with all of the resources you need to feel prepared and confident going into the event.

We are advocating for greater access to health care coverage, including closing the coverage gap, so other patients can survive cancer too. And the Georgia Tobacco Use Prevention Program (GTUPP) - it historically helped prevent kids from using tobacco and helped adults quit.  The program was shut down in 2025 due to a loss of funding. It is imperative that Georgia lawmakers support funding the Georgia Tobacco Use Prevention Program at the 5-million-dollar amount, ensuring youth and adult tobacco use does not increase.
