Cancer Patients, Family, Friends and Volunteers for the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network Will Call for Increased Federal Funding for Cancer Research

WEST HARRISON, NY – Aug. 16, 2017 – The local cancer community – researchers, patients, advocates, community leaders, friends and family – will gather on Wednesday, August 23 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, 500 Westchester Avenue, West Harrison, NY 10604 at 5:30 pm for a Rally for Research to call on Congress to reject any cuts to federal cancer research funding and support increased budget for this lifesaving work.
Organized by the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN), this event will bring together dozens of passionate volunteers who believe that federal funding for cancer research should be a national priority.
