Ohio Must Do Better to Reduce the Burden of Cancer
ANNAPOLIS, MD – APRIL 17, 2023 – Last week, HB 1217 / SB 805 landed on Governor Wes Moore’s desk following its near-unanimous passage in the Senate and House of Delegates and representing a victory for cancer patients across Maryland.
Dozens of cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers met with members of the Nevada State Legislature in Carson City Wednesday. The meetings were part of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network’s (ACS CAN) ‘Cancer Action Day’ which is held annually at the state capitol. Volunteers asked lawmakers to support Assembly Bill 155 which, if enacted, would expand access to biomarker testing in Nevada.
