Cancer Survivors, Patients Urge Nevada Lawmakers to Prioritize Cancer Care

Dozens of cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers met with members of the Nevada State Legislature in Carson City Wednesday. The meetings were part of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network’s (ACS CAN) ‘Cancer Action Day’ which is held annually at the state capitol. Volunteers asked lawmakers to support Assembly Bill 155 which, if enacted, would expand access to biomarker testing in Nevada.

‘Game-Changing’ Bill Becomes Law in New Mexico, Opening the Door to Precision Medicine for More Patients

New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham signed House Bill 73 Wednesday, expanding access to biomarker testing to more patients statewide.
