Ensuring Access to Quality Care

• Medicaid Expansion: ACS CAN will work to promote Medicaid expansion in Wisconsin.
• Network Adequacy: ACS CAN will work for legislation regarding health insurance network adequacy to help ensure that cancer patients and cancer survivors have access to the appropriate medical specialist they need.
• Medication Access: ACS CAN will continue to work for legislation that will protect the ability of cancer patients and cancer survivors to appeal adverse decisions made by health insurers regarding prior authorization, step therapy and mid-year switching of benefits.
