2024 Ohio Policy Forum
The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) will host its annual Ohio Policy Forum on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at the Ohio Statehouse. In addition to a lineup of expert presenters and panelists who will discuss the intersection of public policy and access to care to ensure that every Ohioan has the necessary resources to fight cancer.
Join ACS CAN for a deeper look into the current state of cancer in Ohio. A panel of experts will discuss recent improvements in cancer care, opportunities for advancing the standard of care, and the importance of addressing major issues such as tobacco use. We will take a closer look at pending legislation to improve access to care, Ohio institutions' role in reducing barriers for cancer patients, and the gaps and inequities that we must still address.
The policy forum and panel discussion will take place from 11am-Noon.
