Support House and Senate passage of PCHETA, legislation to facilitate access to palliative care and coordinated care management for cancer patients and survivors.

Removing Barriers to Colorectal Cancer Screening Act (RBCCSA).
Support House and Senate passage of RBCCSA to remove Medicare patient cost-sharing requirements for colonoscopy with polyp removal. Support regulatory changes to provide coverage for the colorectal cancer screening continuum, including follow-up colonoscopy.

Protect and increase appropriated funds for CDC breast and cervical cancer and colorectal cancer screening programs.

Support and enhance the coverage, affordability, prevention, and quality of care provisions of the Affordable Care Act that help cancer patients. Issues include but are not limited to drug coverage, network adequacy, and Medicaid expansion.

Tobacco regulation
Support assertion of FDA authority over and regulation of all tobacco products. Oppose explicit congressional efforts to exclude e-cigarettes and cigars from FDA regulatory authority.

Support continued access to opioid-based pain medications for cancer patients and survivors.

Integrate tobacco and second hand smoke control into USAID global health programs. Support increased funding for HPV vaccination and cervical cancer screen and treat programs.

Support efforts to reduce skin cancer through restrictions in the use of indoor tanning beds.

Support development of new and effective cancer therapies for children and adolescents through increased investment in research and incentives for drug development.
