Oregon City Supports Statewide Ban on Flavored Tobacco Products
OREGON CITY, OR — Oregon City has taken a stand against flavored tobacco products by passing a resolution on Wednesday that calls for an end to their sale.
On the evening of Monday, May 23, the Nome City Council voted 4-1 for a comprehensive smoke-freeξordinance which includes workplaces, restaurants, bars and hotel and motel rooms. The result of the coordinated campaign's efforts is the strongest ordinance yet passed in Alaska. The ordinance goes into effect on September 23.
