The messaging centers on the following theme: Making the Affordable Care Act work for people with cancer will save lives.  If this sounds familiar, it is because the Society and ACS CAN continue to view the health care system through the “cancer lens,” as we have since the launch of the Access to Care Initiative in 2007. After being besieged with misinformation during the health care debate, the public lacks an understanding of the law’s provisions. This is true even among families affected by cancer, as ACS ...
