New Report: Alaska Gets B+ in Balanced Pain Management Policies for Cancer, Other Chronic Diseases
Anchorage, AK – August 4, 2016 – Alaska is doing well but needs to improve its policies to make pain treatment, including use of pain medications like opioids, available to cancer patients and others with serious illnesses, according to a new report funded by the American Cancer Society and its advocacy affiliate, the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN).
