Share

Important decisions about cancer are made every day in the halls of Congress.

From funding for lifesaving research to protecting affordable health care, our elected officials hold the power to help end cancer as we know it, for everyone.

This election season, we are calling on U.S. Senate candidates to commit to the Cancer Promise, and prioritize the needs of cancer patients, survivors, and their families. CancerVotes Volunteers holding signs

The Cancer Promise

I recognize the critical role that elected officials play in leading public policies that are vital to the fight against cancer. As such, I pledge to help advance policies and legislation that work to end cancer as we know it, for everyone, including:

  • Support robust investments in cancer research and prevention;

  • Improve access to affordable, comprehensive health care;

  • Ensure access to cancer prevention services and early detection services, including tobacco prevention and cessation programs.
