Charleston, WV–March 7, 2018–The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) and AARP commends the West Virginia legislature for improving the quality of life of cancer patients and their families through palliative care.
Cancer survivors, caregivers and their families from across the state traveled to the West Virginia State Capitol today and called on the Legislature to prioritize the 12,110 West Virginians who will be diagnosed with cancer in 2018.
Cancer survivors, caregivers and their families from across the state will gather next week in Charleston for two events to call for improved care and quality of life for cancer patients.
