JEFFERSON CITY, MO - “The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) continues to oppose HJR 117 since it would send the issue of expanded access to healthcare coverage back to the statewide ballot. Access to health care coverage through MO HealthNet is a matter of life and survivorship for thousands of low-income cancer patients and survivors and they are just starting to get the care they need. ACS CAN asks the Senate to stop HJR 117 to allow those battling cancer to keep the resources needed to win the fight.”
