Oregon City Supports Statewide Ban on Flavored Tobacco Products
OREGON CITY, OR — Oregon City has taken a stand against flavored tobacco products by passing a resolution on Wednesday that calls for an end to their sale.
GuamÈs governor signed a bill increasing the cigarette tax by $2.00, joining Connecticut and Rhode Island as the only states with a tax of $3.00 or more. Part of the money generated by the tax will be spent on tobacco control and other public health programs.
