Welcome! Thank you for joining us at the 2026 North Carolina Cancer Action Day. The event will take place on Tuesday, May 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This page will provide you with all of the resources you need to feel prepared and confident going into the event. This year we are supporting cancer patients by asking our lawmakers to support expanding access to biomarker testing in North Carolina.

Location: Edenton Street United Methodist Church
- We will meet at the church for a pre-event brief
Parking: Visitor Lot #3 – Also called Green Square Parking Deck on Google Maps
- Entrance at 120 W. Edenton Street
- Once you park, walk across N. McDowell St to the church's entrance

8:15 am - Please try to arrive close to this time to allow 15 minutes to park and walk over
8:30 am - Check-in and meet your team
8:45 am - 9:30 am - Refresher training and team break out session
9:30 am - Walk to Legislative Building for Wall of Hope
9:45 am - Group photo at the Wall of Hope
10:00 am - Press conference (Team 1 only)
10:30 am - 2:00 pm – Meetings with lawmakers and staff
11:00 am - 2:00 pm - Lunch with your team at the Legislative Cafeteria
2:30 pm - Check out at Wall of Hope in front of the Legislative Building
