Colorectal Cancer in Under 50

Overall, colorectal cancer incidence has declined largely attributed to an increase in screening and changes in risk factors. However, this trend is not consistent across all age groups. Colorectal cancer incidence has increased in adults under 50, highlighting the need for increased research to understand this trend, awareness surrounding colorectal cancer symptoms, increased screening efforts, and expanded insurance coverage for treatment and follow up services.
