Health insurance coverage is essential for cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and symptom management. Without coverage, individuals are less likely to receive routine cancer screenings, which raises the risk of being diagnosed at later, harder-to-treat, and more costly stages. Health coverage is also a strong indicator of cancer survival.
