Oregon City Supports Statewide Ban on Flavored Tobacco Products
OREGON CITY, OR — Oregon City has taken a stand against flavored tobacco products by passing a resolution on Wednesday that calls for an end to their sale.
Today, Washington stateÈs governor signed legislation increasing the stateÈs cigarette tax by $1 for a new total of $3.025 per pack. When the increase takes effect on May 1, Washington will have the second highest cigarette tax in the nation. On July 1, significant tax increases on other tobacco products, including cigars, will take effect.
