Oregon City Supports Statewide Ban on Flavored Tobacco Products
OREGON CITY, OR — Oregon City has taken a stand against flavored tobacco products by passing a resolution on Wednesday that calls for an end to their sale.
On Tuesday, voters in Bismarck, ND voted 5,273 - 3,554 to approve a ballot measure that extends the city's smoke-free law and rejected a separate ballot measure that would have allowed for smoking huts outside of bars.ξ Bismarck's smoke-free law will now also include bars, truck stops and tobacco stores and the law will take effect next week.ξ Great job, Bismarck!
