Jacqueline Beale, the ACS CAN Maryland State Lead Ambassador volunteer, will attend the State of the Union address as the guest of U.S. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, her member of Congress.
The new Legislative session kicked off on January 2nd, and we're excited to share information on ACS CAN Massachusetts priority issues. ACS CAN Massachusetts worked with legislative champions and partner organizations to file bills before the deadline of January 18. Our amazing volunteers responded to our request to ask their lawmakers to co-sponsor our priority bills, with over 300 emails going out to lawmakers!
