Increase the cigarette tax on each pack by at least $1; taxes on other tobacco products (OTP) should be increased to the equivalent of the cigarette tax.

Support local smoke-free efforts to prohibit smoking in all work places
Access to Care

Increase funding for the state BCCEDP (Breast and Cervical Program, Cancer State Aid) to provide access to life-saving screenings for thousands of uninsured and underinsured women.

Increase funding for the Georgia Tobacco Use Prevention Program (GTUPP)
Quality of Life

Pass ACS CAN model Palliative Care legislation to ensure that patients suffering from cancer and other diseases preserve their quality of life during treatment.
