Local smoke-free law passes

Conroe, Texas passed a local smoke-free restaurant and bar law which goes into effect January 1, 2010. The new legislation currently covers restaurants and bars, but we will advocate for non-hospitality workplaces to be included when the council revisits the issue in 30 days.
