Patty got the word out. Did you?

Patty Avery is ACS CAN's lead volunteer in Indiana and she's making sure her community understands how health care reform will help people fighting cancer.

Patty wrote an op-ed piece that was printed in the Courier & Press in Evansville, Indiana.ξ She did a great job of of explaining the issue and its impact on cancer.

"No cancer patient Š—” or anyone suffering from chronic disease Š—” should ever be forced to make a decision between saving their life or their life savings.ξ The status quo is not an option for cancer patients and survivors who are struggling to afford the care they need."
