Bonita Pennino, Government Relations Director for Maryland at the American Cancer Society attended this Briefing due to the American Cancer Society's partnership with Maryland Citizen's Health Initiative and sat in a Health Exchange session headed by lead staff from the Department of Health and Human Services and heard from White House staff on connecting the community to their Government.
They were even treated to a surprise visit and remarks from the President, followed up by several White House staffers briefing on the technology put in place for citizens to connect with the White House and the Government agencies.
