Gwen Spencer serves on the Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN). She previously served on the American Cancer Society’s Eastern New England Board from 2018 to 2024, including two years as Chair. Gwen has long been active in ACS CAN advocacy efforts, participating in both the Massachusetts Lobby Day and the national Leadership Summit & Lobby Day in Washington, DC. In 2024, she received the Society’s prestigious St. George National Award in recognition of her significant contributions to the American Cancer Society's mission.
Gwen retired in 2024 as a partner at PwC, where she was a trusted advisor to healthcare organizations and academic medical centers nationwide. Having earned a CPA, JD, and LL.M., she brings more than 27 years of experience in healthcare advisory services and corporate governance.
